FIRST MUSICAL EPIPHANY: 'I GOT ANTS IN MY PANTS AND I WANT TO DANCE' BY JAMES
BROWN.  WITH THE TRACK LOGGED IN HIS HARD DRIVE HEAD MEMORY, HIS NEXT DISCOVERY
WAS THE SYNTHESIZER;  HE IMMEDIATELY TRADED IN HIS SAXOPHONE FOR BOG PRODIGY AND
BEGAN WRITING HIS SMALL CORNER OF HISTORY.

NON THE MOVING HAND HAS INDEED WRIT, AND PAUL'S MATERIAL HAS ROCKED UNHEARD-OF
(IN THE MIDWEST) CORNERS OF THE BRONX, AND WHEREVER ELSE THE BEAT GOES ON.  MUCH
OF THE BAND'S MATERIAL HAS BEEN WRITTEN OR CO-WRITTEN BY PAUL, AND HIS MUSICAL
VISION IS UNMISTAKABLY HEARD ON POP HITS SUCH AS NOEL'S 'SILENT MORNING'.

PAUL HAS NOTED, FROM TIME TO TIME, THAT HIS LIFE, HIS ENTIRE UNIVERSE, SINCE
INFORMATION SOCIETY BEGAN, HAS SEEMED TO BE BE INEXPLICABLY GUIDED TOWARDS AN
UNKNOWN END; AN END ONLY TO BE REACHED ALONG WITH THREE OTHERS, IN THE PROCESS
KNOWN AS INFORMATION SOCIETY

KURT'S HISTORY IS SOMEWHAT UNCLEAR TO HIM.  HE REMEMBERS INTENSE ELECTROMAGNETIC
FIELDS, A LONG DARK PERIOD, AND THE GRADUAL LIGHTENING OF HIS WORLD THROUGH
MUSIC.  HIS FIRST INSTRUMENT WAS THE PIANO, AND THIS LED HIM INEXORABLY TO THE
ELECTRONIC MUSIC PLANE.

AS THE ECCENTRIC VOCALIST AND SAMPLING MASTERMIND OF THE GROUP, KURT IS
PROFESSORIAL IN BOTH ROLES.  AT BABYLAND CENTRAL (INFORMATION SOCIETY'S STUDIO
AND RESEARCH CENTER IN MINNESOTA) HE CONSTANTLY DEVELOPED AND EXPANDED INSOC'S
EXTENSIVE LIBRARY OF HOMEMADE SAMPLES, WITH A SUBURBAN CHILD'S EYE FOR THE ABSURD
FROM THE NEVER-SILENT VOICES OF THE TELEVISION REALITY CONTINIUUM.

KURT HOPES THAT THROUGH THE PROCESS OF INFORNATION SOCIETY, HE MAY CAST A LIGHT
UPON HIS DARK BEGINNINGS, AND DEVELOP SOME ANSWERS TO THE GREAT QUESTIONS OF OUR
AGE.

IN JAMES WE HAVE OUR BASS KEYBOARDIST AND CHIEF ROCKER.  HE WAS FIRST INVITED TO
JOIN THE RANKS OF INFORMATION SOCIETY AFTER A SUCCESSFUL BANJO SOLO DURING THE
BAND'S COVER PERFORMANCE OF JAMES BROWN'S 'GET UP OFFA THAT THING'.  JAMES HAS
GAINED NOTORIETY FRON HIS UNCANNY AND SUSPICIOUS ABILITY TO MASTER VIRTUALLY ANY
ACOUSTIC INSTRUMENT PLACED WITHIN HIS GRASP.  HAVING MASTERED GUITAR, MANDOLIN,
BLUES HARP, JEN'S HARP, BASS GUITAR, AND A NUMBER OF OTHER ARCANE ACOUSTIC MUSIC
GENERATING DEVICES, HE FELT THAT ELECTRONIC MUSIC DEVICES OFFERED HIM A NEW AND
FINAL FRONTIER.

HIS ENTRY INTO THE INFORMATION SOCIETY WAS INEVITABLE.
